Phillip said that dress had cost him $150 and that I better try to get the stains out of it.

Nothing worked, so I tossed it on the trash pile, and watched it burn. He talked to some of the other men, and doesn't blame me anymore for ruining the dress. He's going to make sure me and Lynn get some more gun lessons, and applauded me for making sure the shelter is stocked.

Meanwhile, I don't think I'll ever get to sleep, not after all that happened. Founder's Day started off not too bad. I didn't win anything, but I had fun.

Then some woman came running and screaming. Things were attacking and all I could think of was to keep Lynn safe, but I needed guns. So I sent her off and went on an automatic, trying to keep safe until I could see my daughter again.

I shot people, and there were some that.. well, the virus is transmitted via blood or saliva, and some were bitten. We haven't been able to find a cure.

I don't know what's going to happen next, but Phillip's just asked me to clean his dead wife's room and the nursery. I don't want to, but he's been very nice the past couple of days... Just like it used to be. Almost like it used to be.I got to go shopping for supplies too, hope that it won't be too hard leaving the town.

We're ordering in what we can, but he wants some fancy canned stuff that I can get out of the city.
